Loaded Cheese Fries – Grilled

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4
  • Method: Grilled
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Aluminum foil – 1 large piece per-person
1 Packet Taco Seasoning
1 bag frozen French Fries (steak cut)
1 Rotisserie Chicken – meat removed and shredded and reserve juices
1 Cup Shredded Cheese – I like the 4-Cheese Mexican Style in a bag
1 Jar Salsa – your favorite brand and heat level
1/2 Cup Jalapenos – optional
1/2 Cup Bacon – cooked and diced
Sour cream – optional topping
Diced tomatoes – optional topping

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your grill to 400F

  2. Next, fold the foil into a tray shape with the edges folded up so that nothing can fall out.

  3. Spray foil with non-stick spray and place frozen fries onto the foil. Place in the grill for about 10 minutes.

  4. While the fries are cooking, shred the rotisserie chicken into a large bowl. Mix in the taco seasoning and a little bit of the drippings from the chicken. If drippings add about 1 tablespoon of water.

  5. After the fries have cooked for 10 minutes, flip over and add the chicken and cheese on top of the fries. Close the lid and bake another 10 minutes.

  6. Here’s where I like to set up the toppings in a self-serve bar style. After everyone has a tray of fries they can go through the line and add all the toppings they like.
